SMTOWN 2012 is returning to California at the Honda Center in Anaheim and will bring with it, the return of the biggest gathering of k-pop fans in North America. Koreaboo is proud to announce that we will be hosting the SMTOWN 2012 LOS ANGELES MEETUP once again, in conjunction with some of the biggest and best names in Korean entertainment. Fan communities such as SHINee Forums International, Super Junior World, DBSKnights, and Code Exo will be joining us at this historic event to provide fans with goods to support their favorite artists. Koreaboo is proud to announce that we have just launched our “Fan Feed” on Pinterest! Pinterest is a unique and upcoming social platform that allows for users to share, or “pin” images they find on the web. You can put a simple bookmarklet into your browser, and whenever you happen around an image you like, pin it! You can link back to where you found it, talk a little bit about it, and share with your friends.

Koreaboo has been on Pinterest for some time now and wanted to a way to see what images our fans liked the best. We’ve created the “Fan Feed” for this purpose, a moderated but open platform for our fans to share the images they love through Pinterest.

On June 25, MTV will be televising the “MTV Video Music Awards Japan” featuring popular foreign artists like Lady Gaga, Tokio Hotel, and Japan’s best artists like girl group AKB48, EXILE, and Monkey Majik. SHINee will also join the program as the only Korean group that was invited. After having held their first concert in Japan last December at Japan’s National Yoyogi Stadium, SHINee has been busy with activities in Japan and will continue to be busy with the release of the Japanese version of “Replay” on June 22nd.
